Delivery Information

Delivery:

Date of shipment promised at any time prior to actual shipment is based on our best judgment at the time said date is given and may be changed by Spectrapure Inc on account of circumstances both within and beyond Spectrapure Inc reasonable control. Under no circumstances will SpectraPure assume responsibility for any damages or claims resulting from delays in delivery.

RESPONSIBLE PRACTICES:

Customer will (i) familiarize themselves with product literature or information SpectraPure provides (also refer to updated materials and references on web site: www.spectrapure.com ) (ii) follow safe handling, use, selling, storage, transportation, and disposal practices, including special practices as Customer’s use of the goods require, and instruct its employees, contractors, agents and customers in these practices, and (iii) take appropriate action to avoid spills or other dangers to persons, property or the environment. Customer will indemnify SpectraPure for all claims, damages and related costs, including reasonable attorney fees arising out of Customer’s noncompliance with any of its commitments under
this paragraph.

ALL WATER SYSTEMS SHOULD BE MONITORED FOR POTENTIAL LEAKS FOR A PERIOD NOT LESS THAN 72 HOURS UPON INSTALLATION TO VERIFY PROPER LEAKFREE OPERATION.


Product Returns

To obtain service under this warranty, the defective system or components must be returned to SpectraPure with proof of purchase, installation date, failure date and supporting installation data. Any product to be returned to the factory must be sent freight prepaid; documentation supporting the warranty claim and a Return Goods Authorization (RMA) number must be submitted and included in the box. SpectraPure will not be liable for shipping damages due to the improper packaging of the returned equipment and all returned goods must also have adequate insurance coverage and a tracking number.

Please open all boxes immediately and check contents. We must be notified of any damage or other problems within 3 days of you receiving your products. Inspect all of your products for obvious damages within 3 days of receiving them.

WRONG PRODUCTS RECEIVED – It is very rare that you will receive an incorrect product; we double-check all orders before we ship them. However, if we made a mistake/error in shipping , please notify us. Claims for error in quantity or condition must be made within 10 days of receipt of materials. SpectraPure, Inc. will not be responsible for any claimed shortages not reported within 10 days. FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS UNDER SHIPPING DAMAGES FOR RETURNS!

SHIPPING DAMAGES – If the packaging appears damaged on the outside, please refuse to accept it from the carrier ; or please make sure when signing the shipper proof-of-delivery slip, you include a note stating the package is or appears damaged. If you do accept a damaged shipment, please contact us immediately. Depending on the product and where/how it was shipped, it may be necessary for you to deal with the carrier.
If there was any internal (non-visible) damage, this will need to be reported to us so we can approve a Return.
SpectraPure, Inc. cannot be held liable for damage or loss to a shipment by a freight carrier. Check shipment for damages before acceptance or note on freight bill subject to inspection for concealed damage. Consignee must file claim.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS – O.E.M products (pumps & meters):
O.E.M products (pumps & meters) are covered under the manufacturer warranty and should be returned back to them. Manufacturers prefer to troubleshoot their own technical issues and are better equipped to help solve problems. Contacting the manufacturer directly greatly speeds up the process:

ORDERED WRONG PRODUCT – If you made an error and ordered the wrong products and wish to return the product; you will need to contact us before submitting a return.
If you ordered from a Dealer or Distributor, you will have to contact them to receive payment.

Returns of incorrectly ordered products are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
