SpectraPure® Under sink Carbon Filtration System removes sediment, chlorine, organics and tastes directly at your tap and make your tap water more suitable for drinking water purposes. These systems are fully pre-assembled on a bracket and come with a chrome faucet and a water supply connection. They also come with a filter wrench for easy cartridge replacement.

USC-CB
The USC-CB system comes with a 0.5 micron carbon block filter. The system will remove trihalomethanes, chloramines, pesticides, and VOC’s. In addition, this filter also removes > 99.95% of Giardia and Cryptosporidium cysts (meets the NSF Standard 53 cyst percent reduction requirement) and filters particles down to almost 0.5 microns in size.

USC-CC
The USC-CC system comes with a catalytic carbon filter. It has enhanced chloramine removal capacity. This filter also removes rotten egg smell made from hydrogen sulfide. (Your water must have at least 4 ppm of dissolved oxygen for effective operation of the filter).

USC-LR
The USC-LR system comes with a lead removal multi-media cartridge. It removes > 95% of lead and other heavy metals (like Cadmium and Mercury) in water. It also removes VOC’s and pesticides. In addition, this system also removes > 99.95% of Giardia and Cryptosporidiuim cysts (meets the NSF Standard 53 cyst percent reduction
